Ratcliff’s current work is inspired by visual images captured on a digital camera. She builds layered compositions drawing from varied techniques: painting, drawing, image transfer, collage and photography. The finished pieces evoke a sense of the original place, while encouraging viewers to make an imaginative leap into their own memory and associations.
